Arnoldia

Arnoldia is the quarterly magazine of the Arnold Arboretum at Harvard University. The Arnold is a museum of trees teaching the world about plants. This redesign coincides with the arboretum’s 150th anniversary, and celebrates its long legacy of exploration, plant collection, education, and public service.

The magazine has been published since 1911 and explores knowledge, experience, and imagination wherever it entangles with the nature of trees. We reimagined the magazine with a new editorial structure, design system, and art strategy, and relaunched it in 2022. We continue to provide art direction and consulting services on subsequent issues.
