Religion in Africa and the Diaspora

10.01.13 | Wura-Natasha Ogunji created original artwork to accompany Jacob Olupona’s “Bonds, Boundaries, and Bondage of Faith: Religion at the Crossroads in Nigeria” in Harvard Divinity Bulletin’s Summer/Autumn issue.

The issue also includes “What Ghana Taught King,” about Martin Luther King Jr.’s influential trip to the former Gold Coast in 1957 and a “Required Reading” book review on the trope of pilgrimage in recent memoirs by Chinua Achebe, Ngũgĩ wa Thiong’o, and Lamin Sanneh.

We art directed and designed this latest print edition of the Bulletin.

We’re also providing ongoing creative direction and art direction, commissioning artwork from both illustrators and photographers. The launch issue What Makes You So Special showcases brilliant illustrations by John Hendrix that explore the question of human uniqueness.
