We designed a custom microsite for the new issue of Columbia Engineering, about the onslaught of data in the information age.

We collaborated with Frost Creative to develop and launch the first all-digital issue of Columbia Engineering.

Point Five provided a full website redesign for the Center, from strategy through development and launch.

We met the next generation of Seek contributors, editors, artists, and art directors this weekend at The Rockefeller University’s “Science Saturday,” an annual science festival for children in grades K–8 and their families.

Congratulations to our clients and collaborators! We are all Society of Publication Designers Print Merit Winners from the  53rd Annual Design Competition. Our work for Rockefeller University’s Seek Magazine was awarded for overall issue design, cover art by The Voorhes; Melinda Beck’s work for Columbia Journalism Review for illustration; and Selman Design’s illustration and lettering for PCMA Convene for design.

We recently completed the branding and design for the Rockefeller University Press, including their logo and identity system, as well as the design of their three research journals.

 

We designed materials for A First Amendment for All? Free Expression in the Age of Inequality, a symposium with the Columbia Law Review, the Knight First Amendment Institute, and the Center for Constitutional Governance.

Point Five Founder and Creative Director Alissa Levin talked about digital strategy and redesigning magazine websites at the 2017 Lane Press Publishers’ Conclave.

We designed Middlebury’s “Critical Conversations,” an ongoing series of events that encourage the campus community to engage deeply with issues of inclusivity and free expression. We worked with Aleksandar Savić to create a set of original illustrations for the project.

Alissa was honored to give a keynote presentation about digital design at the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) Editor’s Forum.
